Swim/Bike/Run, or Run/Bike/Run. I’ve coached many triathletes and duathletes over the years, helping them to set or beat PB’s across the distances, as well as picking up open event wins in both Age-Group and overall.

For the vast majority of triathletes the bike split is where you can make the most gains, and this is particularly true over the longer distances. Time spent maximising bike cruising speed at below threshold power/heart rate is crucial, as is balancing the training load between the disciplines.

I can maximise the potential you have on the bike with structured and progressive sessions that will fit in with your probably already crowded training schedule.

At present BlackCat works in conjunction with a BTF tri-coach, and we can plan all aspects of your programme together. If you’re near Canterbury in Kent we can also offer a variety of testing and training options for triathletes at Canterbury Christ Church University’s state of the art SportsLab facility.
