BlackCat Sportive Coaching
BlackCat riders have conquered most of the major sportive events over the years, and on limited training time.
The continental classics: La Marmotte, L’Etape du Tour, Maratona dles Dolomites. The multi-day challenges: Haute Route, Cent Cols. The UK giants: Fred Whitton, Dragon Ride, Etape du Dales.
Despite the distances involved, the vast majority of the riders I’ve trained completed these events successfully and up to Gold Standard by averaging only 4 to 7 hours of total weekly training volume.
Using specific and progressive training sessions, much of which is indoors, right up to the final period before the event itself, we’re able to prepare riders fully for the demands of these sportive challenges. Even in the final period of training, more hours don’t usually add up to faster races or being better able to complete the event.
We couple effective and structured cycle training with our advice on nutrition, pacing, equipment and race-day preparation to give you all you need to achieve your big goal of the season.
